Virginia C. Mock, 84, of Osterburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014.
She was born on March 12, 1930, the daughter of the late Orville Shaffer and Stella (Mock) Lear.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Mock, who passed away on March 5, 2013.
She is survived by daughter Angela and husband, Jeffery Teeter, of Osterburg; son Tom and wife, Joyce Mock, of Bedford; son John Mock of Osterburg; brothers, John Lear of Roaring Spring, Paul and wife, Shirley Lear, of Everett; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James; two children, Larry and Linda; a granddaughter, Tammy; and a great-granddaughter, Holly.
She was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Friends and family will be received at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Osterburg, with Pastor Michael VanDyke and Rev. Donna J. Wolfinger officiating.
Interment at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
