Twilet Arietta Corle, 94, of Osterburg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, April 6, 2018.
She was born on August 10, 1923, in Summerhill, daughter of the late William Earl and Gladys (Ritchey) Diehl.
On June 14, 1941, she married Sheldon Bruce Corle, who preceded her in death on March 4 ,1997.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sheldon; sister, Velma Diehl; brothers, Forest Diehl; William Earl Diehl Jr.; Daryl Diehl; and grandson, James E. Yingling III.
She is survived by her children, Gary S. And wife Barb Corle of Osterburg; Sheila G. and husband Philip Nicolini of Osterburg; 2 grandchildren, Gary B. Corle of Laurel, Md.; Sherry T. (Moore) Friday and husband Jeff of New Paris; 6 great-grandchildren, Zachary K. Moore; Bryce C. Yingling; James E. Yingling IV; Siryana A. Foulk-Yingling; Jasmine E. Yingling; Jordan A. Yingling; brother, Glen Diehl and wife Sue of Altoona; sister, Pearl (deceased husband Ted Calderon) of Altoona; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she cared for deeply.
She was a proud business owner for 26 years of Twilet’s Antiques and was an active member of the Antique Society. She enjoyed traveling and enjoyed antiquing and going to yard sales.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, April 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April, 11, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
