Shirley K. Cox, 77, of New Paris, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

She was born on April 21, 1939, in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Aaron and Ruth (Hann) Brumbaugh.

On October 18, 1980, she married Dervin “Park” Cox.

​She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Robert Brumbaugh; brother, Richard Croft; and older sister Beatrice Potter of Huntingdon.

She is survived by her children, Tracy Knisely of New Paris;  Kevin and Heidi Cox of Everett; Scott Cox of New Paris; 11 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren plus 2 unborn; and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.  Also surviving are brother Pete and Barbara Brumbaugh of East Freedom and sister Elizabeth and Mike Steward of Roaring Spring.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. with a service following at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Interment at the Pavia Cemetery.
