Sherry (Corle) McCreary, 66, of Imler passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at UPMC Bedford.

Sherry was born on November 26, 1952 in Roaring Springs; daughter of the late Lloyd and Gertrude (Benton) Corle.

On October 19, 1968, she married Jay McCreary at the Lamersville Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy McCreary; granddaughter, Emily Husick; and brother, Richard Corle.

She is survived by her husband, Jay; daughters, Jody Husick married to Barry of Everett; Deanna Dull married to Shawn of Alum Bank; Kerrie McCreary and companion Mike Rose of Schellsburg; grandchildren, Lisa, Corey, Chris, Sierra married to Daniel, Niki, Ryan, Molly, Phillip, and Trenton. Great Grandchildren, Kiara, Zachary, Noah, Jaylynn, Audrey, Colt, Willow, Lailyn, Kayden, Keenan, and Ariah Belle; sister, Sandy Cole married to Larry of Osterburg; brothers, Jeff Corle of Everett; and Roy Corle married to Abby of East Freedom.

Sherry was a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. She retired from Best Western and Clara’s Place in Bedford. Sherry was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her life, always willing to step in and help when needed.

Friends and family will be received Friday, June 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 2, at 11 a.m. with Brother Randy Neville officiating at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.

Interment will be held at the Imler Valley Cemetery.
