Obituary

Shane C. Hill

Alum Bank

Shane C. Hill, 36, of Alum Bank, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at UPMC Altoona surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 6, 1987, in Blair County; a son to Michael and Kathy (Gephart) Hill of Alum Bank.

He is survived by his parents; along with his daughter, Madeline Hill; sisters, KiaMarie Dishong of Bedford; Nicoletta, wife of Daniel Stern of Martinsburg; grandfather, Carl Hill of Bellefonte; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

On August 24, 2011, Shane welcomed his greatest joy into the world, his daughter, Madeline. Nothing made him happier than spending time with her. He was proud of her accomplishments, encouraged her in gymnastics and loved taking her for rides on his Harley.  He will be missed greatly by all that knew him.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Espenshade officiating at the Faith Brethren Bible Church.
