Sara “Sally” Margaret Feathers, 85, of Osterburg, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at home.

She was born on March 21, 1936 in Everett; daughter of the late, Joseph and Glenda (Miller) Weaverling.

On Novemeber 17, 1954, she married Kermit Feathers in Hyndman.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alden Weaverling; and son, Gary Eugene Feathers.

She is survived by her husband, Kermit; children, Jay Wayne Feathers of Osterburg; Crystal and husband Gareth Eckman of Osterburg; Neil and wife Gail Feathers of Alum Bank; Michael and wife Miriam Feathers of Alum Bank; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and sister, Shelvae Jean Whysong of Claysburg.

Sally was a member of the Weyant United Methodist Church, and was involved in the Weyant Ladies Aide. She loved to crochet, fish, picnics, and loved being outdoors. She really just loved and enjoyed life. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, May 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Weyant UMC, and on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Calvin Jay Miller officiating at the Weyant UMC.

Interment will be at the King Methodist Church Cemetery.
