Ronald E. Lingenfelter Jr., 67, of King, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack Saturday, November 16, 2024.
He was born on October 18, 1957, in Roaring Spring; son of the late Ronald Sr. and Iva (Corle) Lingenfelter.
Butch married Kim L. Close on May 25, 2001.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Vickie Snyder; nephew, Jud Farkas; and his first wife Gaye Lingenfelter.
Butch is survived by his wife; two daughters, Yvonne (Jay) Winston and Jocelyn Lingenfelter; grandchildren, Dylan and Symantha Moses, Tyler Taylor, Krista Johnson, Jensen Burket, Kaylee and Brayden Haney, and Starlyn, Joey, and Jarot Winston; and great-grandson light of his life, and little buddy Christian Oliver Burket- Greene.
Also survived by four sisters, Janice Musselman, Judy Crist, Patricia and husband, Kip Larson, and Brenda Jordan; and sisters-in-law, their husbands, nieces, and nephews and 2 step daughters and their husbands.
Butch was a 1975 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. He attended 2 years of schooling at Thaddeus Steven's Trade School and received an associate's degree in masonry. He was a faithful member of the Real Life Church in Bedford. He went on numerous mission trips. He enjoyed going to the races, spending time with friends and family, and helping others.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, November 20th from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Thursday, November 21 from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11 a.m. all at the Real Life Church in Bedford, with Pastor Brian Swain officiating.
Interment will be at the Imler Valley Cemetery.
