Robert J. Brown, 73, of Alum Bank passed away on Wednesday, July 17 at his home.

He was born on July 2, 1951 in Johnstown; son of the late Robert James Brown and Marion (Miller) Latva.

On June 12, 1971, he married the late Gloria L. (Jones) Brown.

He is survived by his children, David Brown of Roaring Spring; Kathy and husband Dallas Allison of Alum Bank; Danielle and husband Robert Imler of Roaring Spring; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brady Allison and Sam Wolfhope; and a good friend Andy Summers of Alum Bank.

Robert enjoyed riding his four-wheeler with his wife and friends, grilling, and was a great mechanic. He loved spending time with his children and his grandchildren. He served as a school bus driver for the Chestnut Ridge School District for over 20 years, he was known as "Cookie". He was also the Lincoln Township supervisor for many years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
