Richard Wayne Wayde Sr.
New Paris
Richard Wayne Wayde Sr., 68, formerly of New Paris, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.
He was born on May 24, 1947, in Helixville, son of the late Harry S. and Madeline C. (Fleck) Wayde.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Eugene Elmer Wayde.
He is survived by son Richard (Rick) Jr. of Bedford; daughter, Kimberly Ann and husband Jonathan Claar of Claysburg; sisters, Phyllis wife of Clair Corle of Bedford; Nancy wife of John Diehl of New Paris; Deborah wife of Anthony Scarcia of Bedford; Karen wife of Tom Hershberger of Manns Choice; brother, Alan David and wife Billie Jo Wayde of Bedford; 5 grandchildren, Cody, Brianna, Ashlee, Autumn, and Damien; and one great grandchild Arabella.
Richard was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School class of 1965. After graduation, he held various jobs, RC bottling, May and Bigley Pin Mill, Platt & Sons, Cannondale, Shirley’s cookies, and drove truck for several companies. He enjoyed woodworking, making unique crafts and furniture for many people. He also enjoyed karaoke and dancing. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
