Phyllis M. Claycomb, 84, of Imler, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 with her family by her side.

She was born on October 31, 1938, in Imler; daughter of the late Arthur and Carrie (Harr) Allison.

On July 19, 1956, she married Melvin R. Claycomb, who preceded her in death on April 15, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; and son, Randy “Harry” Claycomb.

Phyllis is survived by children, Melvin L. Claycomb of Imler; Scott Claycomb of Gates, N.C.; and Angela J. Lafferty of Imler; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis was a member of the Community Bible Church in Imler. She loved and took care of her family; she would do anything for anyone. She put everyone else first and she never complained about anything. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
