Paul L. Allison, 81, of New Paris, passed away on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on November 16, 1940, in Lovely; son of the late Waldo and Mary (Stuckey) Allison.

On July 1, 1962, he married Pat (Gerula) Allison, who preceded him in death on October 21, 2007.

On September 15, 2012, he married Shirley (Mock) Allison who survives along with the following family: son, Tim Allison of New Paris; daughter, Paulette and husband Keith Fleegle of Bedford; and son, Terry and wife Tabitha Allison of Windber; four grandchildren, Keisha Fleegle, Kyra, Charlotte, and Hadley Allison; sister, Phyllis Imgrund of Bedford; and sister-in-law, Connie Barefoot.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Allison; brother-in-law, Joseph Imgrund; and his first wife, Pat Allison.

Paul was a former employee of A&P, Riverside, McQuaides, and JLG. He owned and operated the Lovely Valley Grocery with his wife, Pat. Paul was a lifetime member of the Mt. Union United Methodist Church. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved to drive up North in the fall to look at the fall foliage. He loved being with his family and had a special bond with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, June 10th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mt. Union United Methodist Church and on Saturday, June 11th from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Balliet and Pastor Eric Larson officiating at the Mt. Union United Methodist Church, 2182 Spruce Hollow Rd. Alum Bank, Pa 15521.

Interment will be held at the Mt. Union Cemetery.
