Norman J. Coutant, 84, formerly of Bedford County, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born on June 3, 1938; son of the late Norman J. Sr. and Audrey (Lenz) Coutant.

He is survived by his wife, Janice (McCreary) Coutant; children, Connie Diehl, Christopher Coutant, Cathy Gessert, N. James Coutant; 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane, Betsy, and Sandra.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 12 p.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Interment will be at the Fishertown Cemetery.

Military Rites accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
