Merrilee Fitzpatrick, 66, of New Paris, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at home.

She was born on February 1, 1958, in Pittsburgh; daughter of the late Willard and Juanita (Kennedy) Cummings.

On January 9, 1993, she married Rick Fitzpatrick.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Debbie Sonnik.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; children, Rayna (Dom) Amato of Pittsburgh; Ryanon (Shawn) Fitzpatrick of Pittsburgh; Jessica (Rob) Brockington of New Paris; Jason (Michelle) Fitzpatrick of West Haven, CT; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Keith (Carolyn) Cummings; David (Jane) Cummings; and sister, Patricia Borkowski.

Merrilee worked a total of 44 years for UPMC at the Pittsburgh and Bedford locations.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
