Mary K. Walter, 99, of Imler, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at The Village at Morrison’s Cove.

She was born on December, 28, 1918 in Imler; daughter of the late John Austin and Virgie Viola (Fickes) Corle.

On June 18, 1938, she married Wilson W. Walter, who preceded her in death on April 23, 1981.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Thomas and Ross; sisters, Jennie Hengst; Ethel Stiffler; Iva Lingenfelter; Grace Walter; brothers, Lloyd Corle; Eugene Corle; and Warren “Boy” Corle.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy and husband Gilbert Hoover of Saxton; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchilren; brother, Robert Sr. and wife Barbara Corle of Imler; and sister, Francis Stiffler of Imler.

Mary was a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. She was a member of the Elks Lodge of Bedford.She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family will be received Monday, July 16, 2018 from 1 p.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 3 p.m, with Pastor James Neatrour officiating.
