Mary Elizabeth Bowser
Osterburg
Mary Elizabeth Bowser, 92, of Osterburg, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Penn Knoll Village.
Mrs. Bowser was born on August 6, 1932 Rochester Mills, Pa; daughter of the late John and Nellie (Lockard) Mervin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Bowser, who she married March 2, 1953; son, Jeffrey, granddaughter, Dedra Bowser, brothers, Stephen, John, Robert, Ronn, Jerry, and sister, Jackie Mervin.
She is survived by sons, Earl R. (Debbie) Bowser, Steve (Jane) Bowser, siblings, Norma (Ron) Lorence, Richard (Miriam) Mervin, Julie (Bill) Knaby and Janice Robison. She adored her grandchildren Nicole Walters, Kara, Derek, Eric, Alicia Bartolozzi, and she also adored her great-grandchildren.
Besides being a great cook, Mary worked at Bedford County Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s aide, cashier at J.C. Penny’s and Livingood’s Store. She was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, August 15 from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Steve Miller officiating at the Trinity Reformed Church in Osterburg.
Interment will be at the Trinity Reformed Church Cemetery.
