Fishertown
Mark E. Wiley, 86, of Fishertown, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Conemaugh Hospital.
He was born on March 27, 1936 in Springs, Pa; son of the late Viett and Martha (Killius) Wiley.
On October 12, 1957, he married Verna B. (Weyant) Wiley, she preceded him in death on May 31, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Verna; brothers, David and Alton; sisters, June, Carolyn, and Jane.
He is survived by sons, Mark and wife Debra Wiley of Fishertown; Steve Wiley of Fishertown; 5 grandchildren, Luke, Alexis, Matt, Adam, and Tyler.
Mark was an electrician for 38 years at Mortimer Electric. He also was a fire police at Alum Bank Fire Company for 10 years. He attended every sporting event of his grandchildren. He was so proud of his grandchildren and will be missed by his whole family.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, July 29th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Vaughn Loose officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at the Fishertown Cemetery.
