Marion Elizabeth Gorman
Hollidaysburg
Marion Elizabeth Gorman, 84, passed into Heaven on October 4, 2025 at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.
She was born on April 8, 1941 in Rockford, IL; daughter of the late Carl Olaf and Elizabeth Mable (Maas) Larson.
She married James Leroy Gorman Sr. on June 25, 1960 in Rockford, IL.
Marion is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; and daughter, Joan (Gorman) Wanner.
She is survived by her children, Gregory Gorman and wife Winona of Hollidaysburg; James Gorman Jr. and wife Gayle of Front Royal, Va; Kristina MacIntyre and husband James of Alum Bank; Benjamin Gorman and wife Misty of Johnstown; Matthew Gorman and wife Jessica of Sykesville, MD; grandchildren, Megan, Rebecca, Heather, Amanda, Erika, Andrew, Jonathan, Jessica, Alyssa, Erin, Michael, James, Phillip, Devin, Kaitlin, Colin, Conner, Calvin, Marcus, and Nathan; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Patricia Spencer.
Marion deeply cherished time with her family and friends, always intentionally making those around her feel loved and seen. She found beauty in everyday life and expressed it through writing, gardening, music, and scrapbooking. She organized many beloved 'Cousins Camps,' sang in the church choir, and was a published author of magazine articles and devotionals. A woman of faith, she loved the Lord and gratefully shared how blessed she felt. Marion had a sweet tooth—ice cream was often her favorite —and a joyful spirit that shone through everything she did. She will be greatly missed!
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 8th from 9 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at noon, with Pastor Steve Corbett officiating at the Tulls Hill Bible Church, Bedford.
Interment will be at the Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris.
