Margaret Marie "Peggy" Shipley, 88, formerly of Alum Bank, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at PennKnoll Village.

She was born on February 5, 1938 in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Grover and Inez (Cooper) Beck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nancy Cogan; siblings, Robert, Veryl, Grover “Chap”, Leslie “Buddy”, Richard “Dick”, Verna “Sis”, and Evelyn.

She is survived by her Granddaughter, Lonnie Ross; two Great Grandchildren, Christopher and Aleah Ross; and brother, William Beck of North Carolina.

Margaret attended Spring Meadow Church and Alum Bank Community Church. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 1 p.m. with Keith Showalter officiating at the Community Grace Brethren Church, 1216 Raystown Road, Everett.
