Mable Sharon (Claycomb) Cole, 68, of Alum Bank passed away at Pennknoll Village on Friday, January 8, 2016.
She was born July 29, 1947 in Weyant, the daughter of the late Gerald and Ruth (Harr) Claycomb.
She married Richard E. Cole on December 24, 1971.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter Richanda and husband Kevin Croyle of Schellsburg; son, Corey and wife Mariah Cole of St. Ignace, MI; grandchildren, Derek and wife Hannah; Amanda and husband Seth; Zackery; Joe; Savannah and Evan; brother, Ronald Claycomb and wife Donna of Osterburg; sister, Geraldine Vaughn of Missouri; sister, Shirley and husband Tom Lewis of Manns Choice; sister, Ruthanna Trout of Oklahoma; and brother, Gerald Claycomb and wife Anita of Wyoming.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jean Six and Connie Fochtman; and Brother Terry Ray Claycomb.
Sharon loved cooking for and spending time with her family. She spent her life making Afghans and dollies for everyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at 11 a.m., with Rev. David L. Maxwell officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Upper Claar Cemetery.
