MELVA MELVINA (WEBB) YARNELL

Melva Melvina (Webb) Yarnell, 99, of (Lovely) Alum Bank, passed away Monday June 23, 2025 at home.

She was born August 17, 1925, daughter of the late Ralph and Ethel (Mock) Webb.

She married Joseph Frank Yarnell who proceeded her in death.  She is survived by Judy and husband James Otto of Everett; Randy Yarnell of Fishertown; and Susan and husband Guy Diehl, Alum Bank.

Surviving are 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren as well as a sister, Nancy Tomlinson of Windber.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her son William; son Larry; granddaughter Robin Tate; 6 sisters and 8 brothers.

Melva was dearly loved by her family and will be sadly missed.

There will be a private service for the immediate family. 

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren, Ryot.

A celebration of life will be held on August 17th, which would have been her 100th birthday.

Interment at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
