Leonard “Mick” Ferguson, 86, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at home.

He was born on October 21, 1937 in East St. Clair Twp.; son of the late Clark and Jeanette (Crissey) Ferguson.

On June 3, 1961, Mick married Euda Ferguson, who preceded him in death on August 28, 2023.

Along with the love of his life Euda, Mick is preceded in death by his parents; son, Lenny; brothers, Dale, Turk, Dave, and Junior.

He is survived by his brothers, Donald “Gabby” Ferguson, and wife Nancy; Ron Ferguson and wife Nadine; sister-in-law, Susan Ferguson, wife of the late Dave Ferguson; and sister Betty.

Mick was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, Alum Bank Firehall and a member of the Moose for 30 years. He was one of the founders of the Alum Bank Car Show. He started driving bus in 1961. Mick enjoyed car shows, working on vehicles, and his Coca-cola and post card collections. He loved his country music and always enjoyed having a good time; he made the most out of life. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 17th from 3 to 7 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
