Larry K. Heidorn, 58, of New Paris, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1958, in Windber, son of the late Leroy K. and Ruth (Callihan) Heidorn.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Heidorn.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Heidorn and fiancé Joseph Feather of Pavia; brothers, James Heidorn of Bedford; R. Alan and wife Margie Heidorn of Windber; and sister Shelva and husband William Manges of New Paris.

Larry was a social member at the Pleasantville VFW. He worked at Interstate  Emergency Services and Smith Transport for 19 years. He also worked at Cassens transport company and Leaseway trucking company. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved being around his friends and family and spending time with his daughter. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Kurt Knobel officiating, at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
