Lahoma Jewel (Barker) Bowser, 91, went home to be with Jesus on July 20, 2018. 

She was born in Brushton WV on November 24, 1926. 

She was married to Irvin Eugene  Bowser who preceeded her in death on June 4, 2015.  She and Eugene previously resided in Walton WV which they missed greatly.  They had many friends and a wonderful church family (Walton Union Church).

Her previously deceased spouses were Stanley Palaski, James W Bonham, and Dorwin Swick.

Jewel is survived by her sister Sylvia Hackney of Charleston WV and her 5 children, Ron Wolfe and wife Carolyn of Poca WV;  Alyce S Kremer (Bonham) of Alum Bank, PA;  James W Bonham and partner Amy Platnick of Prince Frederick MD; Walter A Bonham of Port Republic MD; Rebecca A Kronenberg (Bonham) wife of Robert Kronenberg (deceased) of Havelock NC.  Jewel is also survived by 17 grand children, 41 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

Jewel was tenderly cared for over the last 3 years by her special grandson, Anton A. Kremer and his loving wife Sylvia Kremer and their daughter Sophia.  They enriched her life greatly to fulfill God’s promise to take care of his beloved.

Jewel had some special friends at Bedford Adult Day care and she enjoyed the staff and her day care friends on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Thank you to them all for helping her have a fulfilling life.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Walter A. Bonham officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Internment will be held at the Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris.
