Kermit L. Feathers
Kermit L. Feathers, 88, of Osterburg, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born on December 23, 1933, in Queen; son of the late William Arch and Minnie Florence (Burkett) Feathers.
On November 17, 1954, he married Sara “Sally” (Weaverling) Feathers, she preceded him in death on May 13, 2021.
He is preceded in death by parents; wife; son, Gary Eugene Feathers, and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Jay Wayne Feathers of Osterburg; Crystal and husband Gareth Eckman of Osterburg; Neil and wife Gail Feathers of Alum Bank; Michael and wife Miriam Feathers of Alum Bank; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Kermit was a member of the Weyant United Methodist Church. He retired from Appleton Paper after 42 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, May 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Weyant United Methodist Church and on Monday, May 30 from 12 p.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Weyant United Methodist Church.
Interment will be at the King Methodist Church Cemetery.
