Kenneth Martin Jr., 87, of Alum Bank, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Pennknoll Village.
He was born on November 10, 1934, in Lovely; son of the late Kenneth Sr. and Mary (Yarnell) Martin.
On July 20, 1955, he married Dorothy L. (Long) Martin.
He is preceded in death by his parents; children, Melvin Martin, Christine Martin, and Tina Oldham; brothers, Bob and Don; and grand-daughter, Adrienne Martin.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Kelvin and wife Deb Martin of Alum Bank; Galen and wife Annie Martin of St. Michael; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Glenn and wife Arlene Martin of Alum Bank; Ronnie and wife Wilma Martin of Alum Bank; and sister, Joyce and husband Alan Holsinger of New Paris.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, July 26 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Eric Larson, officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
