Karen (Ake) Miller, 64, of Osterburg, daughter of Alice (Weyandt) Ake and the late Cloyd M. Ake, left this world on July 22, 2016 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born on October 23, 1951, in Claysburg.
On July 5, 1969, she married Gary Lee Miller who survives her.
She is also survived by her five children, Angela Grimm of Osterburg; Amy Stultz of Schellsburg; Amanda Cox of Claysburg; Adam Miller of Osterburg; and Abigail Corle of Reyonaldsdale; sisters, Sharon Mannion, of Osterburg; Beverly Brown of Osterburg; Rhoda Becker of Patton; brother, Gregory Ake of Osterburg; 18 grandchildren; Hannah, Molly, George, and Joseph Grimm; Ashley, Erin, Jacob, and Wyatt Stultz; Chelsey, Devin, and Noah Cox; Kaleb, Kaden, Kylee, Kolby, and Kenna Miller; Micah and Sadie Corle; four great-grandchildren, Rylee, Hunter, and Owen Imler, and Laila Baker.
Karen’s greatest joy was being a parent and grandparent. Her favorite thing was “the Beach”. She loved flowers, and loved to cook. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Interment at the Osterburg Cemetery.
