Jay Wayne Feathers, 70, of Claysburg, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born on July 28, 1955 in Roaring Spring, son of the late Kermit and Sara (Weaverling) Feathers.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Gary.

He is survived by son, Joseph W. and wife Christy Feathers of Martinsburg, Pa; daughter, Nicole L. (Feathers) and husband Shawn Thompson of Claysburg; grandchildren, Jacob and Ethan Feathers, Alyssa, Kaylee, and Peyton Thompson; sister, Crystal and husband Gareth Eckman of Osterburg; brothers, Neil and wife Gail Feathers of Alum Bank; Michael and wife Miriam Feathers of Alum Bank; and many nieces and nephews.

Jay loved to go hunting and fishing. He was a retired truck driver and was a caretaker for his parents in his later years of life and was a follower of the Lord.

At the request of Jay, there will be no services.
