Janet I. Mowry
Manns Choice
Janet I. Mowry, 78, of Manns Choice, went to her eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at home.
She was born on May 31, 1943; daughter of the late Millard C. and Della I. (Lowery) Hillegass.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William, and son, Kevin L. Mowry, as well as her brothers, Donald and Millard Hillegass.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Detra wife of Ken Webb of Manns Choice; granddaughter, Olivia wife of Luke Mock; grandson, Brody and wife Rhoda; granddaughter, Savanna Webb; and great-grandson, William “Liam” Mock.
Janet assisted her husband in operating Mowry’s Produce along Route 31 for over 30 years. She attended Bedford Bible Church. She enjoyed listening to hymns, Christian programs, and talking with others. She loved trying new recipes in the kitchen as she enjoyed cooking and baking. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

A private funeral service will be held at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be at the Dry Ridge Cemetery, Manns Choice.
