Janet Hillegass

Janet Hillegass, 90, formerly of Reynoldsdale, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at her home in Martinsburg, WV.

She was born on January 5, 1934 in Bedford; daughter of the late Bruce and Mildred (Bowser) Nunamaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christine; and brother, Vernon.

She is survived by her children, David and wife Lisa Hillegass of Osterburg; Gail and husband Michael Heise of Martinsburg, WV; 3 grandchildren, Heather, Amy, and Michael; 2 great grandchildren Hallie and Aurora; and sister, Llene Miller of New Paris.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, June 19th at 11 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Ethan Shearer officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Interment will be at the Fishertown Cemetery.
