James D. Saylor, 67, of New Paris went to be with his Savior on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at home.

He was born on November 19, 1957 in New Paris; son of the late Dwight and Drusilla (Byers) Saylor.

On July 4, 1991, he married the love of his life Karen Clark-Saylor.

Jim is survived by his dog, Oscar; wife, Karen; daughter, Elisesha and granddaughter, Annika Yingling; two sisters, Carol Scott and husband Alan; Joyce Payseur; nephews, Chris and James all of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

Jim worked at Blue Knob Ski Resort for 28 years and Bedford County Conservation District. He also worked the family farm. He was retired and loved his cars and restoring tractors. He was a happy jolly guy with many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
