Jacob LeRoy Summy, 59, of Schellsburg, PA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2015.

He was born on June 9, 1955, the son of the late John A. and Amanda (Schrock) Summy.

On May 20, 1976, he married Martha (Peachey) Summy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Angel Dawn Summy.

He is survived by his wife Martha (Peachey) Summy; children, Anita Summy of Schellsburg, PA; Allen and wife Delores (Steiner) Summy of Honduras, Central America; David and wife Colette (Heisey) Summy of Wagener, SC; Kevin and wife Cindy (Schrock) Summy of New Paris, PA; Marcia Summy of Schellsburg, PA;  and Amanda Summy of Schellsburg, PA; brothers, Edwin and wife Lena Summy of Stuarts Draft, VA; Joseph and wife Elsie Summy of Rochelle, VA; sister, Mary and husband Noah Schwartz of Gap Mills, WV. He had 11 grandchildren: Fredric, Alannah, Kassidy, Franklin, Amber, Jennifer, Marissa, Treyton, Chloe, Alia, and Carter.

He was a member of Christian Light Fellowship.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Christian Light Fellowship, Bedford, PA. The funeral service will be held Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Christian Light Fellowship with Pastor James Peight officiating.

Interment will be at the Christian Light Cemetery.
