Gloria J. Corl, 94, of Osterburg, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at Nancy’s Personal Care Home.

She was born on November 12, 1931 in Weyant; daughter of the late Roy C. and Alice B. (Mock) Corl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Mock; brothers, Byron, Eugene, Glen, Wayne, Paul; sisters, Omelia, Miriam, Ruth, and Una.

Gloria is survived by her children, Deb L. Wiley (Larry) of Montana; Janice Y. Niccols (Mike) of Mt. Pleasant, Pa; Kevin J. Callihan (Cindy) of Florida; James L. Callihan (Deb) of Osterburg; David M. Callihan (Robin) of New Paris; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Gloria was a 1950 graduate of Bedford High School. She worked in a variety of roles throughout her life, including Walmart and Clara’s Place. She loved traveling out West to visit her family and found great joy in cooking and baking for those she loved. She was a devoted mother, raising six children and treasured every moment spent with her family. Her happiest times were when everyone was together, creating memories. She will be remembered for her love, generosity, and love for her family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 27th starting at 2 p.m. and the service will be at 3 p.m. with Pastor Martin Wickens officiating at the Bedford Bible Church.

Interment will be at the Imler Valley Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at UPMC Hospice, Nancy’s Personal Care Home and her wonderful staff and Pastor Tim from Hospice for the exceptional care and support they provided.
