Glenn A. Hinson
Glenn A. Hinson, 87, of Osterburg passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 at Nason Hospital.
He was born on June 4, 1935, in New Paris, son of the late H. Floyd and Mary Virginia (Ferguson) Hinson.
On April 28, 1962, he married Patricia “Pat” (Mihalick) Hinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rick; brothers: Jim, Fred, and Herb; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Millie Mihalick, and brother-in-law, Robert Rhoades.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Roger Lee Hinson of Florida; grandson, Christopher Ryan Hinson; sisters, Carol Casteel and husband, Glendon, of Manns Choice, and Donna Nycum and husband, Alan, of East Freedom; sisters-in-law, Peg Hinson and Jean Hinson; numerous nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Cindy Hinson of Hollidaysburg; and stepgrandchildren, Courtney and Jason.
Glenn was a member of the Weyant United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Dunlo Sportsman Club and Teamsters 110. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Calvin Miller officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
