Gerald Ivan Davis, 79, of Osterburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 4, 2014 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born on July 16, 1934, the son of the late Ivan G. and Daisy M. (Burket) Davis.

On January 28, 1956 he married Elsie (Roudabush) Davis of Claysburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother Howard Warren; two infant sisters, Dorothy and Linda; sister, Delores; brother-in-law Ralph Barefoot; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one step- grandchild.

He is survived by wife Elsie; son, Dorland and wife Deborah (Miller) Davis of Ohio; son, Delbert Davis and companion Carla Koontz of Bedford; son, Raymond and wife LaRue (Waters) Davis of Burnt Cabins, Pa; daughter, Linda and husband Roger Dishong of Imler; brothers, Charles K. and wife Shirley Davis of Claysburg; Ernest and wife Sharon Davis of Alum Bank; sisters, Irene(Kiser) Evans of Colorado; Sharon and husband Steven Hoeppner of Colorado; Eileen and husband Andy Pardo of Arizona; Shelby and husband John Morgret of Alum Bank; Helen Allison of Alum Bank; Leone and husband Melvin Mann of Alum Bank; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five great-step- grandchildren.

Gerald was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1953. He worked at US Steel Mill in Johnstown, Pa and he repaired TV’s.

Friends and family will be received at the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.

Interment will be at the Pavia Cemetery.
