USMC Sergeant Gary Lee Pfahler Jr
Our hearts will forever be broken by the passing of our beloved son Sgt. Gary lee Pfahler Jr on March 2, 2017 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Gary was born June 1, 1990 in Altoona, Pa. He captured the 2008 PA State Wrestling Championship at 140lbs, bringing the first state gold medal home for Chestnut Ridge his senior year. In 2009 he joined the United States Marine Corp with an honorable discharge in 2013. He had the cutest smile with the orneriest, sparkling eyes. He was adventurous, fun-loving and had a big, big heart. His favorite place was at the beach. He loved wrestling, coaching, stargazing, God, his family, friends, being an Uncle and his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Only through the comfort of God's loving arms can we continue, until we can be together again forever.
He is survived by his mother and step father: Lisa and Rick Mcdannell, Father: Gary Lee Pfahler Sr.; 5 brothers, Travis (husband of Tasha) Pfahler; Brandon Pfahler; Josh (husband of Eva) Mcdannell; Justin Mcdannell; and Micky Louder; 2 sisters, Miranda and Alonna Pfahler; Grandparents, Mary and Tom Helsel; James and Freeda Endress; Carolee Conrad and Gary Felosky.
