Fred Miller, 89, of New Paris, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Donahoe Manor.

He was born on August 24, 1925, the son of the late Guy S. and Katherine (Seese) Miller.

On March 7, 1946, he married Helen Edith (Winegardner) Miller.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joe Miller.

He is survived by his wife Helen; son, Thomas W. and wife Ruby Miller of Schellsburg; son, Robin F. and wife Tammy Miller of Schellsburg; sister Helen Winegardner of Schellsburg; four grandchildren, Misty, Scott, Megan, and Guy; six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Beau, Dull, Allison, Brooke, and Andrew Miller; and two great-great grandchildren, Colson and Gunner.

Fred was a member of the New Paris United Methodist Church and a member of the Schellsburg VFW 4440.  He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the New Paris United Methodist Church with Pastor Doreen Griffith officiating.

Military rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
