Euda Ferguson, 83, of Bedford went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 28, 2023 at home.
She was born on January 26, 1940 in Weyant; daughter of the late Merle and Edna (Corle) Claycomb.
On June 3, 1961 she married Leonard “Mick” Ferguson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Lenny; and brother, Len.
Euda is survived by her husband, Mick and her sister Verla Rape of South Carolina.
Euda was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church. She loved country music and going to car shows. She worked at United Telephone Company and Wright’s Orchard. She also enjoyed working at the firehall and playing piano at church.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, August 31 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 1st at 11 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
