Ellamay Barefoot

Ellamay Barefoot, 84, of Imler, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at home.
She was born on April 26, 1932, in Quemahoning, Pa; daughter of the late Joseph S. and Elizabeth (Reeder) Miller.
On November 22, 1979, she married Charles E. Barefoot Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Bertha Mae Miller, Charles William Miller, Edith (Miller) Price; siblings, Dorothy E. , James H.,Joseph S., Albert Paul; granddaughter, Tammy Jo Conn; grandson, Christopher John Budzina; and a great grandbaby Haven Joy Pyle.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; step-son, Charles E. Barefoot Jr. and wife Darla of Williamsport; daughters, Winnie Barefoot of Pittsburgh; Judy Hauger and husband Ron of Claysburg; Suzella Pritts and husband Arthur of Somerset; Nancy Dickey and husband Robert of Somerset; sons, John Budzina of Gore, Va; David Budzina and wife Bonnie of Somerset; Michael Barefoot of Osterburg; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Louise Riggleman and JoAnn Carper both of Tyrone; and brother Harold Eugene Miller of Tyrone.
Ellamay was a member of the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She was a post member at the American Legion. Ellamay was in the Airforce and served in the Korean War. She was a retired nurse of 40 years. Her husband Charles always says she is a “super lady”. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donna Wolfinger officiating at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Military Rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
Interment will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
