Edith C. Hoenstine, 84, of Osterburg, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home.

She was born on June 3, 1937 in Imler; daughter of the late Carl and Olive (Way) Long.

In 1957, she married Earl Hoenstine of 63 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Richard Long.

Edith is survived by her husband; and son, Bill Hoenstine of Osterburg; and sister, Patricia Koontz of Belden.

Edith was a member of the Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in Imler.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, January 4 from 1 p.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Pastor James Neatrour officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at the Imler Valley Cemetery.
