Donald E. “Donnie” Rowzer
Donald E. “Donnie” Rowzer, 60, of Alum Bank, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at his home in the arms of his wife.
He was born on June 22,1961 in Bedford; son of Dorothy and the late James Rowzer of Fishertown.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Mary, daughters, Mindy wife of Graham Shadle of Alum Bank; Sara Rowzer and Jamie Eichelberger of Alum Bank; Jessie wife of Kyle Hess of Camp Hill; 5 beloved grandchildren, Landyn and Jaelyn Pincin, Zeke, Jade, and Laney Hess; brother, Jim Rowzer of Fishertown; sister, Gale wife of Dave Fulton of Bedford; and nephews, Dave Fulton Jr. and wife Vanessa; Dan Fulton and wife Lauren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Jeanne Folk; and sister-in-law, Sandy.
Donnie was dearly loved by his family and will be sadly missed.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Windber Hospice for the loving care over the last few years. Special thank you to Dr. Kelly Warshal for her sincere and loving care. And to our special nurse Jaymi Angell, you became more than just our nurse, you became family.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 18 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service following at 7 p.m., with Pastor Stewart McClelland officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windber Hospice.
