Donald Border, 78, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at home.
He was born on May 30, 1943, in Johnstown; son of the late Russell and Leona (Kause) Border.
On May 12, 1973, he married Evelyn (Morgan) Border.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Juanita, Lorraine, Audrey, and Joan.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Duane and wife Robin Border; Jannette and husband Steve Ryba; Christina and husband Wade Crawford; Tina and husband Henry Griekspoor; 10 grandchildren, Nicole Crawford; Kendyl Crawley; Bug (Kosis) Feight; Trent Border; Dakota Feight; Krista Swindell; Preston Crawford; Jacob Chancellor; Garrett and Adrian Griekspoor; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ronald and Richard Border.
Donald loved hunting, fishing, auctions, and his animals. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, May 5th from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Pastor George Sciranko officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
