Diane Felix, 73, of Alum Bank, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at her home.

She was born on January 28, 1945 in Pittsburgh; daughter of the late Charles R. and Betty (Statler) Bender.

On August 1, 1961, she married Joe Felix.  They shared 57 years together.

She was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Harry H and Phyllis (Messersmith) Felix and two brothers-in law, Harry and Alton.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; son, Scott Felix; daughter, Christy and husband Danny Robosson; and her granddaughter Dannah.  She is also survived by brother in law Eric L. Felix and sister in law Linda (Barefoot) Felix.

 Her great happiness was becoming a grandmother and being able to spend time with her granddaughter each day.

Diane was affiliated with the Alum Bank United Methodist Church. Diane’s main joy in life was her family.  She loved and cared for her husband, children, son-in-law and her granddaughter.  She was loved and will be greatly missed by all of them.

 Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Shane Siciliano officiating at the Alum Bank United Methodist Church.

Interment will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
