Daniel T. Sullivan, 93, of Fishertown, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital Johnstown.

He was born on April 16, 1929 in Buffalo, New York; son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Williams) Sullivan.

On August 8, 1953, he married Mary Ann (Merkel) Sullivan, who preceded him in death on September 12, 2017.

Daniel is survived by his son Mark Sullivan of Portage; daughter, Kathy and husband Todd Walker of Granite Falls, North Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Eric and wife Josie; Lindsey and husband Brad; and Kelsey; and 2 great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Walker; sister, Carol and husband Larry Woodcock of Corona, Arizona.

Daniel was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford. He served in the Unites States Army. He received his bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Buffalo in 1955. Daniel retired from Bethlehem Steel.

Daniel was a PIAA Football official for 32 years, which he was very proud of. He also officiated softball games for over 35 years, and he was a Penn State official clock operator for 30 years. He will be sadly missed by his family.

Interment will be at the St. Thomas Cemetery, Bedford.
