Curtis B. Whysong, 77, of Imler, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home.
He was born on February 4, 1941, in Pavia; son of the late, Harold and Annie (Lamburn) Whysong.
On the Easter of 1998, he married Gloria (Hart) Whysong.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vernon and Gerald Whysong.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; children, Michelle Claycomb of Osterburg; Stephanie Whysong of Fort Myers, Fl.; Michael Whysong of Bedford; Eldon Miller of Bedford; Roy Miller of Nebraska; 3 grandchildren, Brooke Snider, Tyler and Cody Baughman; 2 great-grandchildren, Ava and Jillian Snider; brothers, Dale, Ronald, Hubert, and Wayne Whysong; and sister, Phyllis Shaffer.
Curtis was a member of the Mt. Zion Reformed Church of Pavia. He was a pressman for Standard Register for 29 years; he then worked at JLG for 8 years. For the last 16 years he and his wife ran Tranquil Surroundings Massage in Bedford. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life for Curtis will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 10 a.m. to noon at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
