Clarence Robert Rogers
Osterburg
Clarence Robert Rogers, 94, of Osterburg, passed away on December 25, 2015 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
He was born on May 24, 1921, in Ogletown, Pa, son of the late Earl and Ida May (Johnson) Rogers.
On Oct. 28, 1943, he married Miriam L. Fleegle of Ogletown.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Mariam L. Fleegle; daughter, Shirley Hillegass; sons, Edwin, Blakely and Irvin Rogers.
He is survived by his children, Nancy L. (Rogers) Emerick of Fishertown; Eugene L. Rogers of Imler; Susan E. (Brown) Rogers of Osterburg; 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great- great grandchildren; and a step brother Robert Lewis Rogers.
Clarence was a member of the U.S. Army during World War II. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Military Rites will be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
Interment will be at the Horne Church Cemetery.
