Charles Park Feathers, 76, of Imler, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 7, 2017 at home.
He was born on June 1, 1940, in St. Clairsville, son of the late Samuel and Ellen (Imler) Feathers.
On Jan. 21, 1966, he married Rita (Corle) Feathers.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Feathers; 2 grandchildren, Chanelle and Treyjin Marshall; and son-in-law, Jeff Marshall.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; daughters, Vanessa Feathers of Imler; Tina Marshall of Osterburg; 3 grandchildren, Tim Feathers of Imler; Shadoe Marshall of Osterburg; Chaise Oldham of Imler; brothers, Wilber, Joe, and Samuel R. Feathers; sisters, Doreen Rouzer; Elsie Gonsman; Ruby Claar; and Sylvia Benton.
Charles Park was a member of the Mt. Zion Reformed Church in Pavia. He was in the Navy during the Cuban Crisis. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Reformed Church, Pavia, with Pastor Tim Mock officiating.
Interment will be at the Pavia Cemetery.
Military Rites accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
