Amelia Belle (Hawk) Bruggeman
New Paris
Amelia Belle (Hawk) Bruggeman, 65, of New Paris, formerly of Westmoreland County, Greensburg, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at home, with her family by her side.
She was born on February 18, 1951, in Westmoreland County, daughter of the late Ralph B. and Amelia E. (Cecconello) Hawk.
In the summer of 1972, she married Terry Bruggeman Sr. of Manns Choice.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph G., Jerry, George, Albert, and Bobby; sisters, June Amelia and Elsie Belle.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; son, Terry Jr. married to Linda of New Paris; daughter, Candy J. Bruggeman of New Paris; two grandsons, Jacob Bruggeman and Matthew Laney; brother, Marshall “Butch” and wife Diane Hawk of North Huntingdon; sisters, Marion (Hawk) and husband George Furin of North Huntingdon; Catherine (Hawk) and husband Richard Llewellyn of Florida; cousin Cheryl Cecconello; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Amelia was a member of the Christ Victory Church. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Bennett officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at the Bedford County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
