Alan Yorty, 67, of Alum Bank, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Nason Hospital.

He was born on November 12, 1958 in Larimer, Pa; son of the late John and Trelvia (Sokol) Yorty.

On September 13, 2013, he married Pamela Jean (Alderton) Yorty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Alan Jr.; brother, John Edward Yorty II.

Alan is survived by his wife, Pamela; children, William and wife Stephanie; Timothy and wife Lisa; Raven Peterson; Joshua and wife Sheree; Shawn and wife Amanda; 13 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren; brother, William and wife Robin Yorty; sister, Roberta Weber; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 6 p.m. with a Masonic Service being held directly after at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
