P. Kern Clair, 81, of Osterburg, passed away on January 24, 2019 at home.

He was born on January 2, 1938, in Imler; son of the late Percy and Freda (Barclay) Clair.

On Sept. 13, 1963 he married Audrey (Deffibaugh) Clair, who preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Audrey; and brother, Freemont Clair.

He is survived by his children, Percy Clair; Tracie and husband Donnie McMullen; and Kevin Clair; four grandchildren, Logan and Nolan Clair; Dane and Kendall McMullen.

Kern was a member of the American Legion Bedford Post 113. He also served in the Army Reserves during the Korean War Era. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at the Anderson Cemetery.
