David L. Price Sr., 69, of New Paris passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home.

He was born on August 11, 1949 in Frederick, Md.; step-son of the late Earl Franklin and son of Verna (Price) Franklin of Apaches, Ok.

On August 21, 1975, he married Kathleen (Duitman) Price at Pine Grove Church.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Kelli S. married to Stephen N. Oldham of New Paris; Jason Plummer married to Ashley (Duffy) of Bedford; David L. Price Jr., married to Angela (McDannell) of New Paris; ten grandchildren, Kayla, Nathan, and Emily Oldham; Stephanie (Oldham) and Denver Mateer; Brittany, Allison, and Keirsten Price; Patron Plummer; Brianna Miller; one great-grandchild Bailey Mateer; siblings, Rita (Franklin), married to Bill Isom of Apache, Ok.; Chickie Franklin of Yukon, Ok.; Scott Franklin married to Christine of Apache, Ok; and many nieces and nephews in Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

Dave drove truck for Tri-County Bulk Milk for 23 years. He enjoyed working on cars in his garage for family and friends. He loved camping and spending time with his family, making lasting memories that will forever be a part of those he loved and those who love him.

A special thank you to Gary Wissinger, who stood by my dad’s side during his battle with cancer. You were a true friend.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 4, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
